FMEA（Failure Mode and Effects Analysis）
リスク分析をするため、障害（危険な事象）を洗い出す手法の１つ。Failure Mode（フェイラーモード）とは、故障や障害の発生の仕方のことをいう。対象物をできる限り壊れ方が明確な要素に分解する。その要素に障害や故障が発生した場合、どのような影響があるかを、故障の仕方ごとに列記し、評価する手法。

製造業、工学分野がオリジンの考え方らしく、Google検索すると有用な解説が幾つか見つかります。
その他、事業リスクを 発生確度×影響度 で一覧化するような形式の資料も、事業計画などのフォーマットでしばしば見ます。こういうったものはFMEAとは言わないかもしれませんが、考え方は似通っていると感じます。
